Create a brand from the ground up. The new brand that came to be known as RAD Goods, was created by the founder of the well-respected design studio, Redmond Aldrich Design (or RAD for short). Founder, Chloe Redmond Warner, needed a brand to house her inaugural, exclusive product line of textiles, wallpapers and custom high-end furniture.

We created a brand that shared the same basic DNA as the studio it had been named after, while also being unique enough to stand proudly on it’s own. We started by creating their brand identity, then moved on to define the art direction and create their website and packaging. The end result was a brand that fit wonderfully into the pretty and perfectly weird world of Redmond Aldrich Design.
A Brand Mark
One of our favorite kickoff call questions is “What is your spirit animal?” We ask almost every client this question to help get the creative juices flowing. I’m sure you can guess what Chloe’s answer was by now. “They’re, wise, sage, and perfectly weird— Did we know that an owl can turn its head 270 degrees?” She asked us as her resident owl affectionately cooed down her chimney.
This was the moment we knew that we had to work this rad creature into the identity of the brand. We partnered with the extremely talented illustrator and artist, Lukas the Illustrator, to create this imaginative and playfully sophisticated mark that would come to represent the brand.
Behind the Collection — One dreamy summer in Maine, Chloe hand-painted the motifs that formed the RAD Goods inaugural collection.
